Harley-Davidson is about to have an identity crisis, Harley-Davidson always known for big twin engines alone is slowly branching out. This is completely against everything Harley-Davidson has ever been known for and that’s part of the problem. It’s not a bad thing that Harley-Davidson is branching out but it’s not Harley-Davidson’s identity and no one associates Harley-Davidson with small affordable motorcycles. Harley-Davidson has already found this out with the Pan America adventure bike, people don’t associate Harley-Davidson with adventure motorcycles or anything off road. Harley-Davidson has to get it right with small motorcycles to be known for small displacements for all the right reasons.
